Chameleon, as per science a reptile. But one of the most beautiful creatures of nature. As everybody knows, it has the gift to change its color and camouflage itself for its survival and existence. Not a much predators, but it eats a lot. It has one more versatile quality to rotate both eyes in different directions, which means it can see two different directions simultaneously. Well, while adopting this creature’s gifted qualities to human behavior, many more variations show up. These can be effective in many ways.
1. “Do not change for anyone except you. You can change for yourself all you like.”
It is hard to please everybody. So we cannot change for everyone we meet in our lifetime. But if we feel the need for a change, it is a good sign. A change for oneself is needed. Also, for better self-experience, it is advisable.
2. “Patience – The moment you give up, achievement arrives just after that.”
It is pretty interesting to watch any creature waiting for its prey. All the time, it is waiting. Nothing comes in its way. Even if something comes also, it escapes narrowly or runs away faster. Quite similar to an individual waiting for a good opportunity or success. But it is essential to be patient and constantly focus on what is to be done.
3. “We are like chameleons, and we take the hue and color of our moral character from those around us.”
A chameleon changes colors due to many reasons. One of the most probable reasons is the environment surrounding it. So, humans generally adapt and get used to most things happening around them. People have a mark on their parent’s or grandparents’ daily habits or behavior from childhood.
4. “Never lose your character or surrender who you are to receive attention.”
A chameleon mainly changes color to hide from predators and catch its prey easily. Adjusting oneself is good. But adjustment for the sake of others only to receive their attention is not needed. It is much better to be unnoticeable for many things and many people.
5. “I like being like a chameleon who transforms itself with each role.”
There is a famous saying that many know “Behave like a Roman in Rome.” So it is good to adapt to the environment around you. Also, in every stage of life, transformation is part and parcel. Whether it is daily routine, habits, or hobbies, as the days pass, they change as per the lifestyle. Even the way of thinking also changes. What we consider suitable in one case might be wrong in another.
6. “It is not the strongest of species that survive, nor the most intelligent but the ones most responsive to change.”
Charles Darwin was a great scientist who stated the theory of evolution. He understood and traveled with nature to construct the theory of evolution. So as he said, the strongest dinosaurs are now extinct. In intelligence, only a few species were left. But many species respond to changes, and the chameleon is the foremost as its response is visible.
7. “I am a chameleon constantly adapting to my environment. But always me. I will bend, but I will not break.”
A modification in work or career and behavior for a good cause is appreciable. When the situations are not going as planned or as we want, it is sometimes better to go with the flow for a time. The moment we understand that it is better to be back and be yourself again. Bending does not mean ending.
8. “If you change how you look at things, the things you look at change.”
It can be said in both ways- the glass is half filled and half empty. Both are right too. So it is the view of the person looking at it. If only a dot is visible on a whiteboard, it is said to be focused. If only a dot is visible on a wall, it is considered a fault finding.
9. “Even the change of colors of a chameleon is for survival, not beauty.”
If a chameleon feels it is safe and there is a change in environment and no predators are nearby, it will be in the same color most of the time. So it is needless to change continuously for no reason. Change is sometimes mandatory and sometimes needless.
10. “During the worst times of your life, you will see the true colors of people who say they care for you.”
All the people with you might not stand with you in the bad times. People who are deeply attached might also not trust you. But some unexpected persons who are not much attached might fight for you by all means. There is every chance for a person to be opportunist at any moment and lend a helping hand in need of the hour.
11. “I am such a chameleon; I never get bored.”
Adapting the circumstances and changes around us and accepting them is very important. A change is always initially opposed, later protested, and finally getting adjusted. Skipping the first two steps is relatively peaceful. To do so, it is crucial to understand and accept. That makes a person feel much better and cheerful.
12. “Only the wisest and stupidest people never change.”
Generally, the stagnant water will have a sort of smell. But flowing water does not. It is due to the flow, which also gives energy to the water. Conversion is always lovely. The only constant thing is change. All the others are variable. Also, it takes a lot of willpower to be unchangeable. Some philosophers have attained that too. It is considered a great virtue if you believe in a policy and can stand for it till the end without any deviation.
13. “I am always me. But different people see different parts of my personality in different situations and environments. I am a social chameleon.”
It is pretty standard for any person to react as per the situation. No one can wait and see a tiger coming up, and no one runs away for fear of seeing a scenic beauty. So there is nothing wrong with behaving as per the situation. Decision-making is an essential skill to be developed.
14. “To improve is to change; to be perfect is to change often.”
The concept now to be learned by many people is change management. Life might take any turn at any moment. There are many people’s lives where drastic changes have taken place overnight. Still, many survived with courage and fighting spirit. It is crucial to swap and shift ourselves.
15. “The chameleon looks in all directions before moving.”
This is an African proverb. Thinking about the pros and cons of any decision or situation is much better than taking a step. It enables the ability to analyze and make decisions without hurry and hastiness.
16. “Move like a chameleon. Keep an eye on the past and another eye on the future.”
It is said that the past affects the present, and the present affects the future. One must not forget the past, whether it is a helping hand or a cursing mouth. Both are to be answered but in different ways. Never waste the present and be hopeful for the future.
17. “A chameleon changes its color to match the earth. Earth does not change its color to match the chameleon.”
It takes a lot of willpower to be the same in all situations. It is considered to be incapable by some people. But the thing is that, come what may, to stand and stick to the policy one believes needs a lot of courage.

There is a saying, ” There are no good or bad people. Only circumstances make a person good or bad.” Even though some people are like iron, most are like molds. Molding, as per the situation, is what 90% do. But it is also not fair to blame the circumstances every time. Being sensible is very important. After all, we live in a society.
19. “A chameleon can only change its color but not its skin.”
In reality, many people think they are changing. But it is only up to thought. It will never be applied in reality. They do not even notice that. Still consider themselves as modified personalities, as if it is a huge help to others.
It is wholly based on the characteristics of a chameleon that these quotes are framed. It is a reference to a natural phenomenon. So being oneself is most important. Everyone is unique in their way. Everybody has their way of life.
20. A hypocrite is a person who – but who isn’t?
This week’s lesson defines hypocrisy as putting on a bogus, manufactured, misleading appearance. When discussing hypocrisy, we are ever ready to accuse others of being hypocritical. The truth about hypocrisy is that the hypocrite isn’t always someone else. Have you ever presented yourself in public as someone of virtues when, in reality, the opposite was true? Have you ever lied to the public when you are extolling your virtues?
21. You’re just like a penny, two-faced and worthless.
Two-faced individuals seem to have been showing up more frequently lately, in my opinion. I don’t get how people can be so terrific and honest with you in front of you, but then say some of the most vile and horrible things about you behind your back, which you later find out about. It is unpleasant to hear that. What goes around, comes around, as the saying goes. It is undoubtedly accurate. Nowadays, it’s difficult to find someone who is polite, kind, and straightforward. You only have to be fortunate to come across that unique person who promises to be sincere and genuine with you.
22. A man can define many things beautifully in his life, but his character is one beautiful thing that can define him instantly and completely.
The character of a man reveals who he truly is. His actual moral state is what it is. As “the distinguishing mark of an individual,” it has been described. It somewhat depends on innate abilities, partially on instruction as a young person, and partially on upbringing.
It can be developed by establishing positive habits when you’re young. “Sow an act and you reap a habit. You reap a character from a habit. We can develop good character by sowing positive behaviours.
23. Remember, there are two sides to every story. Kinda like your face.
Every tale that has ever been told has two sides, yet people have been trained to only pay attention to and comprehend the one side. However, seeing only one side of a narrative prevents us from fully understanding a situation or a course of action, make sure you take stand for yourselves.
24. God has given you one face, and you make yourself another.
I think everyone should be treated equally. Although we all share the same internal components, our external characteristics may vary depending on our race, gender, sexual orientation, or even religion.
