The main character in Demon Slayer is Tanjiro Kamado. He joined the Demon Slayer Corps as a Demon Slayer in order to hunt down and kill demons as well as find a cure to turn his sister Nezuko Kamado back into a human. Later, he made a promise to vanquish Muzan Kibutsuji, the King of Demons, in order to save others from suffering the same fate as he did. Before his family was killed by Muzan and his younger sister, Nezuko, was transformed into a monster, Tanjiro worked as a coal burner.

She took this action in order to prevent her family from overspending on her. Returning to the present, Tanjiro makes a decision to improve her life from what it was in the past.
2. “I’ll Make It Back, No Matter What.” -Tanjiro Kamado
In this quote, Tanjiro gets accepted as sensei’s student in the second episode. He then takes him to a nearby mountain for training, leaves him there, and returns. Tanjiro is aware that this is a test because the mountain is covered in lethal traps, and he wants to fight against it no matter what the condition and come out stronger than ever.

In this quote, Tanjiro talks about his struggle to defeat Kyogai, the owner of the Tsuzumi Mansion. He had shattered multiple bones during his previous encounter, which contributed to this.
